FITPACK Packaging System
FITPACK is ILPRA’s exclusive system that recreates the Extraskin look using standard thermoforming film and recyclable cardboard to reduce packaging material and cost.
Extraskin Look, Standard Materials
FITPACK is a new and exclusive packaging system developed by ILPRA to pack products with the same final Extraskin package appearance using standard thermoforming material combined with flat cardboard. So it is possible to pack a wide range of products with constant shape and size, such as burgers, slices of cheese and other calibrated products.
Faithfully reproducing the SKIN packaging, the FITPACK application uses a standard thermoforming material in order to pack any type of product with a constant shape and size, such as burgers, slices of cheese and other calibrated products.
Less Material, More Recyclable Packaging
The FITPACK system allows vacuum packaging inside a customised tray; the sealing support consists of a printed cardboard combined with plastic layer. They are united to get the package and, once separated, the cardboard is 100% recyclable.
As main advantage this packaging system includes a lower use of material, 30% less than the application in SKIN and a lower cost for the packaging itself as result of standardized use of forming material. By using the FITPACK system the foodpack packaging machine is highly versatile and it can also work with plastic sealing films in standard mode
